We were passing through and the parking lot was full we decided to stop in for a quick bite. The food is simple and fresh. Nothing fancy but good home cooking. We enjoyed a bagel, egg and ham sandwich. The chicken fried steak was also very tasty. It was good service and friendly atmosphere. 😊🙏🙏🙏

Lake Alfred diner is a longtime favorite meeting place for locals and retirees. Breakfast all day long, good food, fresh coffee and good service. If you prefer down home charm over chains it's a great value.

I had frog legs and they're cooked perfectly. Better than some seafood places I've had them at. Crysta was a fabulous waitress.

I only ordered a side of fries and it was $3. The fries had visible seasoning on them but I still had to add salt so I'm not sure what kind of seasoning it was. Overall they were alright.

What a fun place to dine! Its got a lot odd character and the service is great! Loved my meal. They have a lot of country-style veggies. My friend got frog legs for lunch! She said they were awesome!

Very sweet local diner. Good comfort food. We had breakfast there. They have a chicken and biscuits with delicious homemade sausage gravy zzz. Homemade fried chicken too! Something different.

I just moved into Cypress Greens last weekend. My new neighbor suggested I stop at the Lake Alfred Diner for lunch. Well, let me tell you I was not disappointed !! A young lady named Diana served our food. She was very pleasant and efficient !! She seemed very happy(even though she was at work) :-) Another young pretty lady stopped at our table to check on the food quality. She said her name was Sofia. She said she was the boss. Well folks, How often does the owner come out and make sure everything was to my satisfaction?? That's a rarity now a days...... Great Job and my hat's off to Sofia and her Crew !! Food and service were excellent !!You will be seeing a lot of me :-) (but first I've got boxes to unpack) lol.....

I like it here. We sat outside since the weather was beautiful. The food is delicious and prepared similarly to what I am used to in Upstate New York at a diner. The server was kind and efficient. The hot open roast beef sandwich with gravy on the fries ....just like home in NY. Thank you

I only had a cheese burger, but the beef patty was thick and juicy, fries bountiful. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. All customers I saw looked pleased. A great experience overall.

We always drive by this place so I thought we would try it. Seems to always be cars here...Maybe we caught them on a bad day they were super friendly and food arrived very quickly but it wasn't to my taste.Open-faced roast beef sandwich had homemade mashed potatoes that were quite good however the gravy was out of a jar and the roast beef was like deli sliced roast beef, the bread was stale and had a funny taste to it. Chili didn't didn't taste homemade. It was creamy? Oh well maybe it's better for a burger and fries?

The waitress was very friendly. We had a group of 6 all our orders came correctly and our drinks were never empty. The restaurant is clean the food is good. The patio dining is pet friendly.

Love it, I come from clermont just for it, they have great portions and their food is tasty! I just wish it was open later. Alot of the time I don't make it in time. Even if they extended their hours an hour or 2 later it would still be an early close for them, but then us the fans could enjoy it more often.

My family and I always go here for breakfast and never have any issues. The staff is always pleasant and charming. The food is absolutely delicious and I rather here than any other breakfast place around.

I love this place. We spend 35 minutes in travel to come here. The food is well-made. A very laid-back atmosphere. Quick Service and wonderful staff.

Very clean, excellent service, very friendly servers, food was delicious, only downfall......the coffee was horrible! Order8ng a breakfast, coffee is a priority and a top of the list item. Please taste your coffee before serving...might it have been the non-dairy creamers that off set the taste? I will definitely be going back for breakfast and hope to have an enjoyable cup of coffee next time.

When we go we always try to sit outside, as inside is always to loud in there for me. Food is usually pretty good and filling. Wait staff is fair. It's a good place for breakfast which is why we go there.

Server Linda was AMAZING! Not sure who the lady in plain clothes with black hair was but snapping at Linda while she was talking to us seemed VERY RUDE! Again service and food were AMAZING probably will be back because of Linda however if she wasn’t such a great server (to counteract the rudeness of Brunette) we wouldn’t be back! Props Linda keep doing what you’re doing! YOURE AMAZING!!!

Awesome place, very friendly with reasonable prices, they make you at home.

It was a very nice place. Real cozy. Food was good. I think some of it was not so much home made but still good. They don't want you to sit and conversate long after you eat. They are ready for the next person to take your spot.

Hubs ordered open-face roast beef with mash potatoes and gravy, I ordered grilled chicken, we loved them both. Prices are very reasonable too. Our waitress was Crystal (sp?), and she was absolutely terrific! Attentive and frie6, but not overly. We'll definitely be back!

Worst breakfast ever in my life. I can make a better breakfast at home. Colored water for coffee. Hostess had super bad customer service. She pointed us to our table rather than walking us over. No menus supplied. Had to walk back to front for menu. Our server was awesome though five stars for her. I would not go back. Not even for free.

This place is super cute! The inside is very cozy and family friendly, and it even has a doggy patio. The server Ashley was very sweet and attentive. We found this place this morning, live about 12 minutes away and plan on coming back tomorrow, because we enjoyed it so much. The pancakes and sausage is a must! Coffee is also way better than your typical cup of coffee.
